June 19 - Engaging the Millennial Mindset

Leadership Strategies to Close the Generational Gap

On Thursday, June 19th, The Strategic Leadership Forum of the Carolinas invites you to participate in a robust discussion about the Millennial Mindset in the workplace.

Dynamics in the workplace are constantly shifting. A wave of change involves the growing presence of Millennials (those age 16-30). This group will soon eclipse Boomers in the workforce, and by 2020 the US workforce will be 50% Millennials. Business leaders need to understand Millennials as people and how they act as co-workers. And, Millennials need to understand how they are perceived.

Our forum will foster a healthy discussion about:
  • How Millennials view the world and use technology
  • What Millennials want from work
  • Ways Millennials communicate and connect with people

As leaders, you will benefit from exploring ways to communicate, how to be engaged, and how to harness desire to drive business results. Participants will leave with real examples to incorporate into their daily interaction with those around them.

This discussion will be held on Thursday, June 19, from 7:30-9:00 AM in the board room of Fifth Third Bank at 201 North Tryon Street. Complimentary to SLF Members, $35 participation fee to others. We look forward to your involvement!
